• What is the purpose of .mobi_TLD?
• The  dotMobi Mobile Web Developer's Guide (Industrie taskforce mTLD.mobi) will put you on the fast track about what is important
• How Nokia does it: it runs on a PAMP-Stack (Personal Apache MySQL PHP) ... on Symbian-S60-Mobiles. Nokia managed to sucessfully install drupal that way.
• How you can test mobile websites with the online tools http://ready.mobi and http://validator.w3.org/mobile/ and what details you need to know.
• The funcunality of the mobile database Device Atlas (http://deviceatlas.com, http://ta-da.mobi), this being a drupal application itself.
• Learn about the mobile developer group http://mobiforge.com, which is another Drupal application by the way.
• Why this is considered a  «MobiWeb2.0 Project» .
• About all the useful experiences I could gather with my own project Projekt MobilePublisher (http://mpub.mobi) in 2007.
